Comments

When submitting a comment, in addition to the information provided in the comment form, the commenter's IP address and browser identification string are collected in order to filter out unsolicited content.

A depersonalized one, a string generated from the email address (it is usually called hash) is forwarded to the Gravatar service, if this is in use on the site. The terms of the Gravatar service can be viewed at the address below: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After the comment is accepted, the content of our comments and our profile picture will also appear publicly.

Average

If a picture is uploaded to the website by a registered user, such EXIFs should be avoided, which also include GPS position data. Website visitors can download these and extract location data from the images on the website.

Cookies

If we write a comment on the website, the given name, e-mail and website address are stored in cookies. Storage is for convenience purposes, so you don't have to fill in these fields the next time you post. The expiration date of cookies is one year.

When we visit the login page, then we set temporary cookies for that purpose, to determine, whether the browser accepts cookies. These cookies do not contain personal information, and are deleted, as we close the browser.

When you log in to the website, we create several cookies, which saves the login information and display options of the editing interface. Login cookies are valid for two days, cookie that stores the display options of the editing interface for one year. If it is “remember me” option is checked, registration will continue for two weeks. Login cookies are removed when you log out.

If we edit a post or page, our browser stores another cookie. This cookie does not contain any personal data, it simply stores the ID number of the entry, which we edited. It will expire in one day.

Embedded content from other websites

The posts available on the website contain embedded content from external sources (pl. videos, pictures, articles etc.) they can use. Embedded content from an external source behaves exactly like this, as if we had visited another website.

These sites are possible, to collect data about visitors, cookies or third-party tracking code are used, monitor user behavior related to embedded content, if we have a user account and are logged in to the site.

If you request a password reset, then the IP address is included in the reset email.

How long do we keep personal data?

If we comment, the comment and its metadata remain in the system for an unspecified period of time. The purpose of this, that all subsequent comments become known and approved by us, i.e. do not appear on the list of comments to be moderated.

Users registered on the website (if there are any) your personal data is also stored in your own user profile. All users can view it, you can edit or delete your personal data at any time (except, that you cannot change your own username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.

What rights does the user have in relation to his own data

If you have a registered account or write a comment on the website, you can request that your personal data be sent in an export file, which contains any data, previously provided by the user. It can also be requested, to delete any previously provided personal data. This does not apply to those data, which are administrative, we are required to keep it for legal or security reasons.

Comments submitted by visitors can be checked by an automatic spam filtering service.
